ONE OF SPAIN'S FIRST WHISKY CLUBS
The 1960s heralded a golden age of blended Scotch whisky. One of the biggest brands of the day was Beneagles, a blend of Macallan, Glenlivet, Longmorn and North British, started by Peter Thomson in the 1920s and passed through the family until it was run by his grandson, Michael Thomson.
With this unwavering passion working within Spain, Finn’s grandfather became the key importer of the finest sherries and wines from Spain to the UK. The histories of Scotland and Spain are intertwined in the rich tapestry of whisky, sherry and oak. To commemorate this bond and the friendships built upon them, Michael Thomson launched Beneagles Club 502 in the sunny coastal city of Santander. From its opening, the club was hailed for its elegance and conviviality -– the place to see and be seen.

Since the 60s the whisky industry has boomed and is now influenced by countries all around the world. Today, Michael's grandson, Finn Thomson, is relaunching Beneagles Club 502 as a global gathering to support and celebrate the enduring friendships of the international whisky community.
